The Amazingly Gifted Youth Fine Art Workshops (AGYFAW) was founded by Gwen Pruitt Davis in June of 2003. It is a subsidiary of Artists United For Christ, Inc. The mission of Artists United For Christ is to improve the lives of people using the arts. Our goal is to use the visual and performing arts as a device to attract, persuade, educate, and propel children and adults into thinking patterns that will produce successful living. Our vision is to (1) design, implement and sponsor workshops and other activities to help establish community cohesiveness, (2) target low and medium income communities while considering the depressed and eager from all backgrounds and (3) provide mentoring programs that embrace protégés until they become self-sufficient.
