Gwendolyn Marie Pruitt (Gwen Pruitt Davis) was born in Phoenix, Arizona on July 23, 1947. At the age of one, her parents relocated to Dallas, Texas where she now resides. She is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University. Gwen is the founder of Artists United For Christ, Inc. and the Amazingly Gifted Youth Fine Art Workshops.
